Description
DESCRIPTION:
- Chemical 3% AFFF is a synthetic foam concentrate used to effectively extinguish Class B hydrocarbon fuel fires at 3% solution
- 3% AFFF provides rapid extinguishment and excellent burn back resistance
- Can be used with fresh, sea and brackish water. Chemical 3% AFFF has 20-year shelf life
APPLICATION:
- Used to prevent re-ignition of a liquid spill and control hazardous vapors
- Compatible with conventional firefighting equipment such as non-air aspirating, aspirating foam nozzles, and common proportioning devices such as eductors and self-educting nozzles
- Chemical 3% AFFF is compatible with most dry chemical agents

Amerex Compressed Air Foam Units provide rapid flame attack for Class A and B hazard areas. CAFS attacks all sides of the fire tetrahedron by smothering the fire with a "foam blanket", thus preventing oxygen from combining with fuel.
